AWA is a boutique architectural studio based in Hamilton, dedicated to creating spaces that are both functional and innovative. The practice is grounded in empathy, agility, and meticulous craft.

AWA sought a refreshed brand identity and website that would reflect their purpose: designing architecture that balances practicality with creativity.

The new visual identity draws inspiration from core elements of architecture—arrangement, process, plans, line, and light. The angular, geometric logo reflects structural precision, while repeating angular lines suggest different parts of a structure coming together, with thinner lines intersecting thicker ones to evoke a sense of light and spatial depth. Lines that shift from thin to thick convey progression and growth, and the diverse, vibrant colour palette adds energy and dynamism to the overall identity.
